Integrate with Conduit

In this blog I’m going to discuss how to integrate your Kustomer Org with Conduit. The Conduit platform helps create custom charts for e-commerce, sales and cx platforms (ie. Kustomer). Conduit allows you to automate these charts with workflows so you can automatically import reports directly to Google Sheets. Workflows can also be used to create custom metrics with Google Sheet Formulas using the metrics below. 

 

  • Number of Conversations
  • First Response Time
  • Closed Conversations
  • Closed Time 
  • Messages Sent. 
  • User/agents name 
  • User/agent email

The Set Up

After signing up (it’s free!), you will need to integrate your Kustomer org. To do this, you will go to Connections on the left hand menu.

In the top right of the connections screen you will see a search bar where you can search for Kustomer.

After clicking the Connect button, you will need to open your Kustomer org. As you will need to create an API Key. In Kustomer, go to:

  1. Settings > Security > API Key

  2. Create New API Key

    1. Name: Conduit API Key

    2. Roles: 

      1. org.permission.user.read

      2. org.user.read

      3. Org.permission.reports_standard.read

When adding the domain, you will want to use the format: your-org.api.kustomerapp.com. The other examples provided return an error. Once you submit the domain and API Key, Kustomer will begin initializing. This process may take a few minutes. Once the connection is complete you will now see your Kustomer Org in your Conduit Connections. 

Once Kustomer is connected, you can begin Importing reports. You will be able to connect your Google account so you can import your reports directly to Google Sheets. This can also be automated and scheduled. You can also create a Kustomer dashboard that will turn your reports into data charts.
